  1. DATING: Brought a lot of stability and been such an interesting journey so far.
  2. ACADEMICS: Graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife (B.Sc. Computer Engineering). Such a big craze to get a degree :(
  3. WORK: joined Chatdesk full time. Purposeful, filled with growth and interesting challenges. Looking forward to what the future holds with the company. Someday, I’d write about working at Chatdesk but until then.
  4. NP-Core: Algorithms community, started with a mentorship program with 3 other people (Mayowa Tudonu as T.A. , David Asamu and Oluwaleke Fakorede hashCode as members). It was fun and eye-opening. Looking forward to going all in 2018.
  5. OPEN SOURCE: Re-ignited Open Source Mentorship with React Native with Ekundayo Blessing Funminiyi and Taiwo Azeez (Christine Abernathy served as a mentor)
  6. CERTIFICATES: Earned data science , Javascript and REST API design certificates. Glad to go through some structured learning once again.
  7. WEEKEND-STUFF: Learnt about Smart Contracts development (sparked interest from Perfect Makanju). One weekend and it was like it never happened afterwards
  8. PLUGINS AND LIBRARIES: Released the first gradle plugin (https://plugins.gradle.org/plugin/com.saopayne.grails-nexmo), a GoCardless client in Go (https://github.com/saopayne/gocardless-pro-go) and a web scraper in Go (https://github.com/saopayne/gsoup)
  9. RANDOM: Wrote some production-grade app in Go outside of work. This was mad challenging and fun. More of this in 2018. Some other things like
  10. Major switch to Web|Infra|ML from mobile.
